Why San Francisco Vehicles Need Paint Enhancement
San Francisco's coastal environment exposes vehicles to:
-
Salt air
-
Coastal fog
-
Bird droppings
-
Tree sap
-
Industrial fallout
-
UV exposure
-
Brake dust
These contaminants gradually reduce gloss and contribute to paint deterioration. Regular paint enhancement removes contamination, refines the clear coat, and restores your vehicle's appearance while adding protection against future exposure.

Paint Enhancement FAQ
What is the difference between Paint Enhancement and Paint Correction?
Paint Enhancement is a one-step polishing process designed to improve gloss and remove light imperfections. Paint Correction uses multiple polishing stages to remove a much higher percentage of defects and produce a more refined finish. Many professional detailers distinguish these services by the amount of correction and time involved.
How much improvement should I expect?
Most vehicles experience a noticeable increase in gloss and clarity, with 50–70% of light swirl marks and wash marring reduced, depending on paint condition.
How long does Paint Enhancement take?
Most appointments take 5–8 hours, depending on vehicle size, paint condition, and contamination levels
Should I get Ceramic Coating afterward?
Yes. Paint Enhancement creates a much cleaner and glossier surface, making it an excellent preparation step before applying a ceramic coating for long-term paint protection.
What Is Paint Enhancement?
Paint enhancement is designed to improve the appearance of your vehicle without the additional time required for a full paint correction. Instead of aggressively removing every defect, our process focuses on maximizing gloss while significantly reducing light imperfections.
