Ceramic Coating Professionals Throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
Best Long Lasting Car Paint Protection
Having a couple trained detailers, we surpass the quality of work of your typical San Francisco car wash location near you by offering ceramic coatings. What is that? a hard shell 9H thick and looks like thin glass. What does it do? A ceramic coating will prevent water stains, road grime, bird droppings, and other substances from reaching and harming the paint. With a quick rinse, they'll simply slide right off. And that brings us to an interesting word: hydrophobic.

What is Ceramic Coating
At one point in time, a paste wax was the top shelf choice to enhance your vehicle’s shine while also protecting your paint from external elements like rain, bird poo, dirt, etc…
Fast forward 20 years, a bunch of scientists work their magic in a lab, and we now have a far more durable and superior form of protection: ceramic coatings. Ceramic coatings bond with the substrate of your car, so you need to start by giving your car a detailed cleaning. If it's covered in dirt and other debris, the coating will have trouble sticking.
The process will include the following steps.

Our Coating Application Process
Wash
Our detailer will start by washing your car with soap and water. Do their best to get all the dirt, dust, bird droppings, etc. off the surface during this step. There might be a few stubborn spots we take care of those with a clay bar stage
Clay Bar Cleaning
A clay bar is exactly what it sounds like: a bar made of clay. Many clay bars also contain some form of car shampoo that helps it remove small debris and other contaminants still left on your car after the wash. our detailer will rub the clay bar over the surface of your car. The clay will get into the tiny pores in the paint and clear out any debris. It'll also fill those pores with clay, which creates a completely flat covering over the paint. This will help the ceramic coating adhere to your car and give it a smooth appearance.
Polish
We continue to give your car a final polish before applying the ceramic coating. This will make the ceramic coating look as good as possible and will remove any last contaminants. This step is crucial to ensuring long lasting results to your vehicle.
Coating Application
Your vehicle is ready for its coating application. Now our trained detailer will start applying the coating by hand with applicator pad, let the coating sit for a few minutes while it adheres and sticks to the paint. Using a microfiber buffing cloth we will wipe away coating making sure no excess coating is left and a even surface is there. Next we will let the coating cure leaving the vehicle parked for 24 hr suggested cure time.

Ceramic Coating Must Knows
Should You DIY It? We do not recommend it ! A ceramic coating is definitely good for your car, as it provides light protection as well as a permanent candy-gloss shine. However, you should never DIY a ceramic coating, since it requires a fairly skilled professional to apply properly.
